Dear Colleagues, every βend of the yearβ is a great time to review and look ahead. In the magic of authentic German Christmas period sweets, treats & treasures, we have the pleasure to invite you to the 8th edition of YOCOCU conference in Frankfurt from 8th to 9th December 2022!
After the 7th edition, which was carried out remotely due to COVID-19 pandemic, we want to create a teachable moment for conference attendees and the community of the hosting city, as we did during the 6th edition in Matera. For this reason, the first day of the conference β 7th December β will be dedicated to the local community β citizens and schools β while the scientific program will be developed from 8th to 9th December. The last day (10th December) will be dedicated to deepening specific projects or institutions connected to the Cultural Heritage sector in Frankfurt.
The YOCOCU 2022 Conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on multiple subjects related to Cultural Heritage.
We decided to subtitle this edition “we’ve got questions, you’ve got answers”. It will be devoted to talking about the current βopen questionsβ in the Cultural Heritage sector (see below). The participants will answer the conferenceβs provocative questions through oral presentations by presenting their activities, research, and projects to provide suitable solutions! Provocative questions encourage everyone to think creatively and laterally, eliminating perceived constraints to pursue a real exchange. If your actiity/research cannot answer the specific questions, please refer to the conference topics (see below).
